LETTERS FROM THE FAITHFUL
You are such precious people! How thankful we are that you are both feeding the flock and teaching us; warning and helping us to cope with the powers that are undermining our beloved church. May God continue to strengthen you and give wisdom. {Glenna R., Oregon}
We really appreciate your ministry, and listening to your dvds are the only spiritual food that we get in our area. Unfortunately the pastors around here only feed us "junk food" and how easy it is to start dying on the vine after listening to their humorous cotton candy sermons.[KC, Oregon]
Thanksso much for your website I foudn this evening! It is encouraging to find a person that still is not afraid to document truth and hide nothing from the people. (You actually have 'a ton of stuff' on this web site! ! ! ) I live in the Los Angeles area and so many of the conference preachers(?) are preaching a diluted-poluted form of Adventism that would make you weep! This website will go into my "Favorites" to share with friends. Don't be nudged off the straight way and I'll meet you on the Sea of Glass soon! [R. Pitts,Calif]
Dear Pastor Dan and Lillie
We are so thankful for your fine ministry and the great outreach you have. We are excited to be a small part of a ministry that we believe in 100%. You are truly a voice in the wilderness that the world and our church so desperately need to hear. May God continue to bless you both as you minister for Him.
{Darrell and Graceanne, New Jersey}
Dear Pastor Shafer
Greetings to you and the family in Jesus’ dear name. I am writing to thank you so much for the good work that you are doing of spreading God’s everlasting message to this sinful world. Your messages are coming to us at the time when we need them most. We thank God and give praises to His name for this provision.
You may not be aware of this for I don’t remember telling you in my letters to you. On October 26, 2006, ten churches were disbanded from Seventh-day Adventist mainstream and some individuals taken to high court. Since that time the disbanded churches have continued to operate independently without any pastor but laymen only. The main issue was refusing to accept women ministries which has brought a lot of divisions in some countries here in Africa and has led to having women ordained as elders and pastors.
Some of these disbanded churches were done so for refusing to allow field leadership to conduct campmeetings and weeks of prayer. The demand was “you withdraw the case first from the world court and settle the matter as Christians.. then you can come to conduct campmeetings and weeks of prayer.”
The leadership did not want to listen but just decided to have them removed from sisterhood of churches. Since that time we have continued to operate independently but issues are still in court.
Chances of getting back to the mainstream are very slim as our leadership here is compromising too much with the world. Just recently they (pastors) joined the Catholics during the Good Friday and Easter Sunday holidays to do the candle lighting and other rituals that are done by the Catholics during this period. Unbelievable, but it is true, and this is the second time.
I just wanted to say many thanks for the messages that you are sending. May the Lord continue to guide and bless you and keep you safe and strong as you labor to hasten the soon coming of our Savior Jesus.
Yours in the Master’s service, WT, Zambia, Africa |
Pastor Shafer, Thank you so much for your monthly message. They help me so much in my walk with Jesus. Thank you that you stand up and preach strong Biblical sermons. What we need is the straight testimony down here in the end of time to help us get ready for the return of our Saviour and Lord. {DD, VA}
Dear Pastor Dan and Lillie
A friend has been sharing your CD’s with me and I have certainly enjoyed them. I have been sharing them with other members of my church. The Holy Spirit speaks through you and it is wonderful to hear the truth preached with such boldness. God bless you both as you speak His Word at this end time. {FM, Penna}
Dear Pastor Shafer,
We have been truly blessed with your monthly messages. We would like to know what we have to do to have you come and speak at our church. (BA, WVA)
Dear Pastor Dan, My dear precious Lucia who is being kept in the palm of Jesus' hand and waiting for Him to come, shared one of your tapes with me and I am now receiving them monthly. They are truly a blessing. May our marvelous Saviour bless you, your wife, and your powerful ministry abundantly. I pray that soon you will meet Lucia and myself in our eternal home where we can spend glorious days getting to know each other. Until then, blessings from on high to you and yours. [Roxanne, Maine]
Hello Pastor Dan, I am so thankful for your wonderful tapes and thank your sweet wife for her health lectures and Uncle Arthur's Bedtime Stories. I listen to them over and over. The music is very dear to me. I will be 90 on Aug. 23rd. (HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR ONE). We came from Germany in 1952. My husband and children escaped just with their lives. I am glad that Jesus is coming soon. Our planet is a very dangerous place to live. I pray that Jesus will protect you and your wife. Satan will soon be appearing as Christ. [Lucia, Maine]
Dear Friends, Thank you so much for your wonderful tapes with the pure message. I play them over and over and are a blessing to me more than you can ever know. [BL, California]
Dear Ones, Thank you so much for your wonderful messages. I can't wait to hear the next one. [ BS, Arkansas]
Dear Pastor Dan & Sister Lillie, Thank you for the timely messages. The tapes have certainly been a blessing to us and are listened to quite frequently. May the Lord continue to shower you with His blessings as your messages inspire and encourage so many in their relationship with Christ. [AJ, Mass]
Thank you for your ministry and for teaching the straight testimony as we are instructed. Thank you for your sincerity and your love for Jesus that comes through your teachings. We want to help support God's work where truth is taught. The Lord bless you and your wife in life and ministry. [MB, GA]
God bless you dear souls for your fine CD ministry. May you continue in the love of Jesus in spreading His precious meesage. We are grateful. [ Hawaii ]
Dear Pastor Dan and Wife, My husband & I now receive your ministry CD monthly. We wanted to write you and tell you just how much we appreciate and need your ministry. We absolutely love to listen and learn. We also thoroughly enjoy the health message and Uncle Arthur's bedtime storie, which we had never heard before. Our eyes are being opened and our lives transformed by the "Present Truth" being preached by you from Inspiration and Jesus Christ and the Spirit of Prophecy. We pray that our love offering will further the truth being spread even more. We are so grateful to have found ministries such as Hartland and Highway for the Remnant - Jesus surely led us. In His love, [J. & N. G. New Mexico]
Dear Pastor Dan and Helpmeet: Thank you especially for this timely message on "Apostolic Succession". It was just exactly what I needed to be able to help others understand, and I look forward to part 2 soon. May God bless and multiply your efforts. [VJ, North Carolina]
Dear Bro. Dan: Thank you for keeping us on your mailing list for your helpful sermons which have been shared with others. [PJ, Tennessee]
Greetings! Thank you for your end-time monthly messages. May God continue guiding you as you labor together to hasten the soon coming of Jesus. [WT, Zambia]
Dear Pastor Dan: Thank you so much for this wonderful ministry! I received my first CD recently and it was a great blessing to me. I hope to share these CDs with others, as the message is so important. I am pleased to support such an uplifting mission. [DK, New York]
Dear Pastor Shafer: I thank God for ministers like you who preach the undiluted truth of the Bible. What I desire to hear is the truth proclaimed boldly and with God's Love as you do. We need more ministers such as yourself. So many pastors today preach a watered-down doctrine. We need strong meat such as you present to help us get ready for Jesus' return & to become more like Him. I listen to your messages over and over. [DD, Virginia]
Dear Pastor Shafer: Both you and your wife's crown shall be top heavy. Yours in Christ. {BM, Oregon}
Pastor Dan - Listening to your messages is like going to a pep rally. It lifts me and inspires me. I would like to have your permission to use some of your material for my sermon preparation. [GS, Virginia]
Christian Greetings Pastor Shafer, I've never heard of your ministry until I received your CD in the mail. I want to thank you for allowing God to use you in a mighty way. I was greatly blessed and my soul watered by the sermon, the health segment, and the music. May God continue to keep you and your family as you continue to minister to others. Love in Christ, [KO, New Jersey]
"The baptism of the Holy Ghost as on the day of Pentecost will lead to a revival of true religion and to the performance of many wonderful works. Heavenly intelligences will come among us and men will speak as they are moved upon by the Holy Spirit of God." (2SM57) I love you folks dearly, and pray for you every day. May God prosper and defend you. [GR, Oregon]
Dear Pastor Dan & Lillie
I thank you so much for the tapes. I have enjoyed them so much; and I share them, too. God bless you for your ministry. I am so glad you have not compromised on truth. Our churches are in such need. You are one of the few who are giving the trumpet a "..certain sound..". I expect the sunday law quite soon. The devil is using men to undermine God's temple and His leadership as well as members in the pew. I really like Lillie's health info and children's story. I wish you God's blessings and you, your wife, and your ministry are in my prayers. With love and peace. [LS, Minnesota]
Dear Pastor Dan:
Thank you for giving us faithful instruction on every point of the Christian Faith, showing us what we must do and be in order to stand perfect in the day of God. [KS, Woodbridge, VA]
Dear Pastor Shafer: We appreciate your tapes. We relish the crumbs from your table once a month and should never be as bereft and need for the straight Word, but there you have it; we just are. [BM, Oregon]
Dear Pastor Shafer: Thank you for the tapes. What a blessing they have been. Your sermons are spiritual food when I drive to work. I couldn't ask for a more thought-provoking & spirit-filled sermon ever. I especially like the meditative music, and the health tips by Lillie. God bless you folks for your ministry. [LW, Tennessee]
Dear Pastor Shafer: Thank you very much for your precious messages that you are sending. They are a great blessing to us here especially at this time. At our church, we have plans to conduct crusades this year and open many branches or companies. May God bless and keep you strong. [W.G.T., Zambia]
Dear Highway for the Remnant, Jesus is coming very soon. The world is busy with the internet, TV, movies, and games. Satan is very clever to keep people busy while the judgment and the sealing is going on. We don't hear anything in our church about preparing for persecution, all we hear are smooth things. When I try to tell people, they look at me as though I was an alien. Lord help us! I enjoy your truthful tape ministry very much. May the Lord bless you and your wife and the wonderful work you are doing.
[LS, Maine]
Dear Pastor Shafer: I truly love your tapes and this month's tape has moved me to communicating my faith more, and demonstrating it better. May God continue to bless you and your ministry.
[Ethel, Delaware]
Pastor Shafer, Thank you so much for your monthly tape. I anticipate greatly your wonderful tape every month. They help me to stand strong for God and His Truth. I thank the Lord for such a minister who stands firm for God's biblical truth in such a time as we live. Thank the Lord there are some ministers like you who preach the undiluted truth in a time when everything has been watered down. Your congregation is so blessed to have you as their pastor. We need more like you, who will help people prepare to meet Christ at His second coming. Too many today are putting God's people to sleep spiritually. [DD, VA]
Dear Pastor Shafer
I would like to know more about the message of "True Adventism". I have been searching for the "Truth" most of my life. If you could send me some information (esp. "What must I do to be Saved?"), I would appreciate it.
[DR, California]
Dear Pastor Shafer, I believe you and your wife are speaking truth. May God continue to bless you and your messages from Him. I study and believe the Bible and the writings of God's messenger. I have been listening to your tapes faithfully and even pass them along to my church members. {EP,PA}
Pastor Dan & Lillie: We truly enjoy your messages. We continue to pray for your ministry there in Hampton Roads. I have been sharing the tapes with our church members. {JR, PA}
Pastor Dan:
Thank you so much for your reform-minded ministry. Your efforst at proclaiming God's endtime truths are a blessing to many I am sure - even more than you realize. [AK, VA]
Brother, it is a blessing to hear your messages. Because we do home church, when your CD arrives, we use it for the service on that Sabbath. So keep up the good work, brother. It's great to hear a good SDA message for our times. [DG, Australia]
Desperate for Message
Dear Pastor Dan,
It would be nice if you could visit our church and have the sermon. There is not much said of the "Remnant" and the "End of Time", and we desperately need to hear these messages. God bless you in your service for Him, and I am grateful for your tape ministry.
Maranatha, {BR, PA}
"Reverence in the Sanctuary"
Many, many thanks for the tape recording of Elder Dan's sermon of August 20, 2005. On our return to Australia at the end of September I am looking for to the joy of reliving the experience of our visit to the Hampton Roads Church. Thank you for sharing with me a number of your bulletins which I will share with our church pastor in Australia. I especially appreciate your announcement in the bulletin regarding reverence in God's sanctuary. Unfortunately, many of our churches in Australia have accepted applause in the form of clapping in response to musical items during the church service. My wife and I were delighted to join you for the Sabbath service, and to especially witness a service where reverence was maintained throughout the worship hour. It was a highlight experience for both of us. There are many churches that claim this cannot be done. We have had the experience of witnessing the results, and thank you sincerely for the privilege. We will always remember our visit to Hampton. {R & VB, Australia}
"Messages We Do Not Hear"
Thank you for the tapes. The messages on health are also very inspiring.....The preachers today never speak concerning important last day issues, such as the Sunday Law or the Time of Trouble; what must we do to be saved, and how to prepare for the end. No warning... No preparation seems to be the order of the day. I am therefore so grateful for your messages of Truth. I solicit your prayers for a grandson for whom I have great concern. He knows and recognizes the nearness of the advent as well as the countdown for the national sunday law. Keep up the good work; be of good courage and keep the faith. Blessings, {LS, ME}
"Faithfulness Encouraged"
Thank you for your taped messages for God's people. I have been blessed each month. I want to be a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, believe and follow all the prophets sent by God. Your ministry helps to encourage me from getting lulled into the things of this world and to be faithful to study God's Word to be prepared for the days ahead and keep my faith strong and my choices God-centered. Please pray for us here at Walla Walla. {LK, WA}
"Voice Crying in the Wilderness"
Dear Pastor Shafer:
I cry many tears when I hear your tapes messages. I cry for the lost souls on the earth that do not hear these most timely, spiritual messages that you are producing. I hear our Father pleading with us through these messages. Others are so thrilled to hear your messages and warnings. I feel that it is a corporate sin of the church that these same messages are not thundered from every pulpit. Yours is a voice "crying in the wilderness" just as was John the Baptist's..... and so many fail to listen or accept. God must see another jewel in His crown resulting from your preaching. How precious and valuable are the topics that your dear wife is presenting. A wonderful addition to your ministry. Please continue to pray for us. We want to see Jesus come soon and take us home. {Vern & Elnor, VA}
